We got the range baskets

Trinity loves the grass rug and lays on it at least once a day.
I am surprised she hasn't fallen asleep on it (soooo soft).

Our August is going along.. for me it seems to be taking forever!!! Trinity is growing like crazy and is ALL over the place. She climbs on everything and then just sits and waits for you to find her (she is so proud) only to be told to please get down because she is up to high. She has an infinite vocabulary ... she has started to say every word we ask her to say and lots of word associations. I love finding her reading by herself or with Cash. She reads out loud and is very animated. I have learned that cleaning with her is an adventure. I put things away and she takes them back out as if she discovered the newest play toy. Currently she is running with the colander from the kitchen and throwing it on the tile floor b/c it makes such a pretty sound. I usually find a stash of Tupperware in Sawyers room at some point during the day ( I think she is adding her decorating touches).  The nursery is complete.. just need some pictures of our little man to go in the frames :) ... We are about 35 weeks along and start our once a week appointments on Monday. No indication so far when he will join the party... we are anxiously awaiting our little mans arrival.  We have decided to become "super cool" and get rid of our BMW for a rear air conditioned mini van. We like to say its because of the kids (it doesn't sound great to say we want one). It is a great excuse to have a vehicle that will provide enough room to fit huge amounts of plywood and material from Lowe's ... and make frequent trips to pick up furniture for me to paint. So I suppose it is for the kids not our hobbies. It also means we can have company.... HAHA.. who knew toddler seats and infant car seats could really take up the entire backseat (no middle seat.. in vanished to about 4 inches between seats.
Keep us in your prayers this month. That Sawyer continues to grow and for our health. That we prepare Trinity as best we can for this new addition to our family. Also, that Jason can balance.. work..masters.. Trinity and a new baby!!!
Our next blog will be introducing Sawyer Jaxen!!!

Letters for his room to go above his crib

Working on the letters

Finished.. now to hang them

Well the blog has been silent for too long. I will not put 400 pictures up to update you on the months of silence (yes I am sure it is not a shocker that I have that many.. and yes.. probably ALL of Trinity). I will do a synopsis... we found out Trinity is going to have a little brother. We are super excited and have been told that we get to experience "the best of both worlds." We picked his name, Sawyer Jaxen and had fun telling family and friends. Then we decided on a nursery theme.... GOLF!! Did some research... and took off. So far so good. I made a golf mobile and lamp for his room. Jason did the main two toned green nursery with a cart path running through it. Jason has some wood projects for hanging the golf club (which will hold his name letters) and a book shelf that looks like a tree. We couldn't find a cute fan so I painted one (you see a swish of blue as it goes around but on the fast speed its mainly white). I found a golf cart rocker off of a craigslist add in KENTUCKY (long story.. apparently you can purchase a new one on line and get told a shipping date.. get a call 3 weeks later saying it is no longer manufactured... WHY ADVERTISE IT). Sweetest lady in the world owned the rocker and figured out how to pack it/ship it very cheap and we hope to get it in a week. I was able to add animals to the golf course... see how many you can find (turtle, frog, stork bird, lizard, coyote, alligator, gopher, rabbits, deer, ducks and a javalina .. of course).  The only thing missing from the course are the golf carts which will be added later. Trinity loves Sawyers room and has started to say his name (her version of it.. "suh"). Anyway, we are doing well and feeling great!!! I promise it won't be many months between updates!!!

Our Family is Growing

We feel so blessed to announce that we are expecting a special little baby in September. We have been able to have several ultrasounds and really enjoy seeing our new little one. Trinity is proudly sporting her "big sis" shirt around. We know this is going to be some crazy fun with two under the age of two!!! Now that we are 13 weeks along Jason is excited to take blue/pink cupcakes into work to make the announcement to his friends and I will be doing the same at bible study this week.
Trinity is growing so fast and doing so much. She is walking all over and even loves to kick her ball around. She does the motions for the nursery rhymes she learns at babytime (at the library) it is super cute. She "roaaaaaaaaaaars" with the lion in her favorite book (thank goodness we took a break from pat the bunny... it is now a car book to give us a break).

We are super excited to have our niece Arianna coming out next week. She has opted to spend her spring break with her coolest uncle and aunt.... we can't wait!

We ask that as this new journey begins... to pray for us and pray for this amazing little baby as it grows and develops. We also pray for wisdom as we teach Trinity about being a big sister and the transition that is fast approaching.

"Soooo Big Soooo Fast"

We have had fun times since the last blog. Trinity has a total of 7 teeth now and loves showing them to the camera!! She is jib jabbering all the time about everything!! We love listening to her waking up as she starts to play with stuffed animals and talks with them before we go in and get her. Trinity LOVES music, she really enjoys dancing (which is super cute) and she now will dance and look at the piano waiting for one of us to play a song (she also loves to add her own notes to the song). Trinity is super cautious but took 3 steps on her own today, I still think it will be awhile because she realizes that she can crawl so much faster than walking. Trinity's favorite toy right now are her blocks. At first she just loved knocking them down but now she is so proud of herself when she successfully puts a block on top. Grandpa came to visit this last month and Trinity loved all the attention and hugs from him. They played and played and played..... Trinity crawled around the house looking for Grandpa the day he left (trying to find her big play toy). We don't have much planned for the rest of this month but hoping for lots of park days with friends.
